This is a personal memory map, not an automatic, exhaustive country counter. Photos without locations, trips without photos and limited library access can leave gaps. Add a Memory manually when discovery misses a place that matters.
Where you want to go and where you went are different
Save future ideas to Want to go and build a Trip when you are ready to plan. Confirm visits deliberately. Keep a Memory when you want to preserve the experience. None of those actions needs to happen automatically.
That separation keeps your atlas honest: a bucket-list destination is not a visited country, and a visit is not an obligation to write a journal entry.
Start with one trip you still think about
Open Pinlyy on your iPhone, allow the Photos access you are comfortable with, and review a past trip. Choose the moments that bring it back. A few meaningful memories are enough to start.
